Ø IGNOU, Regional Centre, Raipur has received the University Gold Medal for best student support services in the year 2014.
Ø Regional Centre Raipur office has been shifted to its own premises on 14th January 2014.
Ø IGNOU Regional Centre, Raipur has adopted 05 villages Mandir Hasoud, Nardaha, Dondekala, Donde Khurd and Pawani.under “ Unnat Bharat Abhiyan” of Govt. of India. Many activities i.e. promotion of literacy, Health and Hygiene and other awareness programmes have been organized.
Ø IGNOU Regional Centre, Raipur has given free admission to the Transgenders and SC/ST learners in various programmes and for Weavers Community in BPP Programme of IGNOU.
Ø IGNOU Regional Centre, Raipur invited officers of IDBI Bank Raipur to train the RC employees and the student-volunteers under Digital Initiatives (e-kranti volunteers etc.) on 21.12.2016.
