PARTITION HORRORS REMEMBRANCE DAY 2024

Dear Ignou Learners

On the Occasion of Independence day the Regional Centre Raipur has received a  direction  from Head Quarters , IGNOU , Maidan Garhi , New Delhi that Hon’ble Prime Minister in his speech on 15^th August, 2021 at Red Fort had declared 14^th August to be observed as PARTITION HORRORS REMEMBRANCE DAY . Ministry of Education had accordingly organised series of events on or around 14^th August since 2022.   This  Year too a  series of activities are planned to observed the PARTITION HORRORS REMEMBRANCE DAY .

It is to remind the country about the Largest displace of Human Population in the Last Century which also claimed  the lives of a large number of people to showcase the suffering Partition affected people a Play has been curated by National School of Drama (NSD) which we are uploading in RC Website.

The Script of the play is designed to educate and raise awareness among the students about the events of partition, the impact it has on millions of lives  and the importance of remembering the chapter of our history. The script is indicative  and can be adapted or modified as per the suitability and creative requirements of individual  the link to download the play is as under

स्वतंत्रता दिवस के अवसर पर क्षेत्रीय केंद्र रायपुर को मुख्यालय, इग्नू, मैदान गढ़ी, नई दिल्ली से निर्देश प्राप्त हुआ है कि माननीय प्रधान मंत्री ने 15 अगस्त, 2021 को लाल किले में अपने भाषण में 14 अगस्त को स्वतंत्रता दिवस के रूप में मनाने की घोषणा की थी। विभाजन भयावह स्मृति दिवस। शिक्षा मंत्रालय ने तदनुसार 2022 से 14 अगस्त को या उसके आसपास कार्यक्रमों की एक श्रृंखला आयोजित की थी। इस वर्ष भी विभाजन भयावह स्मृति दिवस मनाने के लिए गतिविधियों की एक श्रृंखला की योजना बनाई गई है।

यह देश को पिछली शताब्दी में मानव आबादी के सबसे बड़े विस्थापन के बारे में याद दिलाने के लिए है, जिसमें बड़ी संख्या में लोगों की जान भी गई थी, विभाजन से प्रभावित लोगों की पीड़ा को प्रदर्शित करने के लिए एक नाटक राष्ट्रीय नाट्य विद्यालय (एनएसडी) द्वारा तैयार किया गया है, जिसे हम आरसी वेबसाइट पर अपलोड कर रहे हैं।

नाटक की पटकथा छात्रों को विभाजन की घटनाओं, लाखों लोगों के जीवन पर इसके प्रभाव और हमारे इतिहास के अध्याय को याद करने के महत्व के बारे में शिक्षित करने और जागरूकता बढ़ाने के लिए डिज़ाइन की गई है। स्क्रिप्ट सांकेतिक है और इसे व्यक्ति की उपयुक्तता और रचनात्मक आवश्यकताओं के अनुसार अनुकूलित या संशोधित किया जा सकता है, नाटक को डाउनलोड करने का लिंक इस प्रकार है:
